The List Finishers perform exterior repairs, including leak detection and leak repairs. Exterior leaks are not always from the roof. Sometimes windows are not flashed properly. (See first pic below.) Sometimes the starter strips of siding installations are not flashed properly (See 2nd pic below), which is especially bad if the house framing and sheathing do not project at least slightly farther out than the masonry foundation, as they should. Moisture runs down behind exterior siding in places, and then improperly flashed starter strips steer the water onto the foundation and sometimes into the basement.
