Villanova Kitchen

This kitchen was originally two smaller rooms with different ceiling heights. Re-framing created additional attic storage space above the new kitchen ceiling.

Island top and counter top are quartz not granite.

A well-lit kitchen:  recessed LEDs all around the ceiling, pendant lights over the island, LEDs inside the glass-front cabinets, and natural light from the windows.

The commercial-grade hood vent has 5 speeds. Setting #5 is so powerful it blows leaves off the roof!

The bi-fold door between the kitchen and dining room helped to not block walkways in both rooms. (A full-swing door would have swung into a walkway, and a pocket door would have added cost because of existing ductwork in the wall.)

Recipe and phone nook!
